From the sea... to the horse
PERLE DE MER® is a pure and natural sea clay (100% clay, 0% additive), naturally iodized and rich in minerals, applied externally for the care of horse's members.
Its excellent therapeutic properties : antiphlogistic, aDsorbent, aBsorbent and antiseptic are well known since antiquity.
Everything that is alive (plant, animal, human) can benefit from the effects of the clay.
The power of clay
Many insufficiently known virtues, a widespread sphere of activity.
Our clay is particularly efficient due to a high ionic exchange power. This natural "biochemical" adsorption neutralizes most of the toxins accumulating in the body of the horse, and at the same time replacing it wth its micronutrients during the process.
Clay is a mineral very hydrophilic:
- on the surface, it absorbs liquids, gazs, fatty substances,
- in depth, it draws out the toxic particles to exchange it against its minerals.
Rich in minerals and trace elementsComposition : sea clay, sea water

|
How to use ?100% mineral and natural, it comes in its original form moist and pasty, ready for use, unmodified, preservative-free and additive-free guaranteed.
It is used both as preventive, regularly to relieve and strengthen the tissues after work or as acurative use to treat a specific affection.
Simply apply after training or competition on the area to cure a 1 cm layer in the opposite direction of hair (to touch the skin) on a clean and dry animal..
Depending on the desired effect:
- if you wish to cool an area of the member after an effort or treat an inflammation of tendons, warm congestion... Do not cover with a airtight textile (eventually a light breathing cloth, gauze/compress, moist newspaper sheet) so that the heat can be transfered from the clay to the air.
- if you wish to treat wind/road puff, engorged tendons, non warm recurrent congestions, you must put a bandage to get a heating effect (plastic film + standing wrap).
Let it operate the time for the clay to be dry (clay is at its highest activity when moist), from half an hour for surface contusions to 2 hours to treat deep traumatism.
Then rinse with clear water.
Do not ingest or use on open wounds or cracks.
Always consult your veterinarian for a diagnosis before using any medication and to seek advice on how to apply it.
Clay is disposable, you cannot use several times after it has been applied.

“I am a owner of trotters actually in competition and i use Perle de mer clay after each race and workout.
I apply it on the tendons, knees, legs and even on the back of my horses. I am very satisfied with this product, what's more it dissolves very quickly when i give a shower and the most important it is non doping.

“I can say that an application of PDM marine clay on the affected parts of one of my mares (that suffers each summer from dermatitis) eases the itching, protects and helps the skin to recover. I noticed a real relief.

“...after 5 days of use of Perle de mer, the inside inflammation of the front left leg of my horse has completely disappeared, while i tryed different products before ; this area of my horse is particularly sensitive.
...I am very satisfied with this quality of clay, after 4 days of daily use twice daily ... the result is there and I can only see the tendons of my horses have become dry and no heat is persistent.

“ The thoroughbred horses we have are particularly sensitive.
We use "Perle de mer" amongst other uses on "exhausted" legs, it's an excellent decongestant with anti-inflammatory properties.
For example, our dominant gelding, an old racing thoroughbred horse, suffering from arthritis, often gets himself into a state during heat period. When he is pushing the boundaries, your product helps to relieve his hocks. I will spare you other examples...
